In this episode, Detectives Logan and Barek investigate the murder of two sisters found wrapped in plastic cocoons and asphyxiated. As the detectives confront one victim's boyfriend who works for a local nurse, they learn this woman is suspected of extorting money from patients with voodoo. The case takes an unusual turn when it appears the suspect woman uses her powers to place a curse on Logan.

This episode reveals that Logan is extremely allergic to poison ivy. He develops a severe rash, fever, and stomach pains after confronting a suspect in the murders, and begins to believe that she may have put a curse on him. The symptoms were in fact caused by poison ivy oil on a candle that Logan picked up.
